Pedro nasceu em Sāo Paulo, Brazil, e começou a se engajar na música logo cedo, apaixonado por rock, metal, Aos 12 anos Pedro já estava na banda The Death Season que ajudou a fundar incumbido de tocar o baixo elétrico. De lá para cá fizeram vários shows em casas noturnas de São Paulo. Nunca pararam.
Pedro começou a adquir conhecimento e prática nos processos de mixagem, masterização e produção logo cedo. O que o levou a optar por seguir em frente na área musical.
In high school, Pedro founded the revolutionary program: CRIA. The program aimed to help teach other students interested in the arts, involving more than 400 students within the first year. After high school Pedro was invited by Douglas Neves to co-produce an album at Estúdio Fusāo, which lead to his band's record deal.
Hoje Pedro estuda na faculdade Columbia College Chicago onde ele faz uma dupla formaçao em Music e Audio Production and Design. Em 2019, Pedro e seu companheiro de quarto Tony Klacz, criaram um estúdio /selo "The Groovy Motherfunkers" (TGM), que atualmente escreve e produz hat currently writes and produces for an array of artists throughout America.
The Groovy Motherfunkers’ first shows consecutively pulled in hundreds of people each night. The label has already released an EP from the house band (2u4me by the Groovy Motherfunkers), as well as a single (Lips Like Chardonnay) and a full length album (Xeno) for their label’s premiere artist: Zeno Camera. The Group has several projects currently in the works including: multiple full length albums, EPs, and singles for an array of artists, a Brazillian tour, and large compilation tape being created through the recording of tons of undiscovered Brazillian talent. Besides playing bass and providing backing vocals for the house band, Pedro is the Executive Producer of all of the Groovy Mothefunkers' projects. Pedro is also the Musical Director, the head of Studio-Design, Co-Manager, and in charge of Gear Management.
In addition to his work with the Groovy Motherfunkers, Pedro recorded and engineered a large portion of the Death Season's new, full length album, scheduled to come out in May of 2020.

The death season's new album, recorded at Estúdio Fusão, features 13 original tracks, 3 being a unique collaboration between the band and São Paulo's state jazz big band (EMESP). All big band arrangements were written by Pedro.
The album is being produced by Douglas Neves, co-produced by Pedro Canaan and Mixed by Thiago Bianchi, and has its release date scheduled for May 2020.

Hailing from Minnesota, Cate was exposed to all sorts of genres. From the callused vocals of Kurt Cobain to the poppy melodic sounds of Lana del Rey, Cate's influenced by a wide variety of artists. Her debut album with the Groovy Motherfunkers is expected to drop in the Spring of 2020
